kickin' it

J: For weeks now, N's been very eager to feel you-know-who move. (The books say she should about now.) She finally felt something last week and is now constantly saying things like, "the baby's awake" and "come feel this". It sounds like it's doing more than just kicking--swimming and sommersaults is more like it. It definitely still has room in there for the back stroke, but not for long. Things are getting bigger and moving on up --just like the Jeffersons, except it's the North side were talking about here. (When does the belly button pop anyways?)

Regardless of what it's actually doing in there, it's absolutely adorable how excited she gets when she tells me it's awake and moving. All this excitement—I can't wait until I can REALLY feel it too.
