Heads up

We got the thumbs up—guess that means everything is going well in there.

18 Weeks

J: We had the 18 week sonogram this morning and everything is progressing well. We sat in the room watching the monitor, looking at the little one dance around—and i do mean dance. lots of movement. I'm not sure how to even express what i felt. Incredible. Absolutely incredible.

What a looker

Cute nose—already taking after its mom.

We got good blood

n/j: Just a happy note to say that we got the results from the battery of tests that doctors use to determine the health of the baby.

Without boring you with the details, the bottom line:
This is one healthy (and incredibly loved) little baby.

Another milestone successfully reached--we can't wait to feel it kick!

The ABC's of Pregnancy

n: If you are grossed out by changing bodies, skip this entry.
If you are intrigued by the real changes that occur during this process, do read.

We are moving up from the belly and into the boobs, cause, well, everything on the front side of my body is in full bloom. As if changing my entire wardrobe wasn't expensive enough (thanks for the help, parents!), I finally took the plunge and went bra shopping. I gotta start work tomorrow and only so much of my body can appropriately be popping out! Thanks to Mary at Nordstrom, I was properly "fitted" and was told my new bra size. She may as well have told me that I went from a 4/6 pant size to a 12/14. "Um, a what size?". If I grow anymore I will move beyond the ABCD we all know and love (and onto more obscure letters in the alphabet).

With some hesitancy, I welcome this change--because after all I AM PREGNANT, duh!

Yup, it's good to be pregnant. Pass my mint Oreos.

baby debut

n: Week 16, just shy of 4 months. I can't help but look at every reflective surface as I walk by.
