j:This was one of the highlights of my life. I'm certain this process will give me a few more before we are finished, but seeing the little thing move (jump even!) was spectacular.
Two arms, two legs and an incredible heart beat of 161. We are on our way.

Awesome is definitely the word -- to be able to see Bundino -- a new life developing!!!
I am so happy for N & J and especially happy to share our joy with family & friends -- it's definitely awesome. I love being a grandfather :-)

Baby Conscious
love from... hmmm, Safta Sindy?
Each morning, like a submerged kickboard pressing toward the water’s surface, my mind pushes me to consciousness.
First thoughts are scattered bits… then I remember.
Smiling, sometimes giggling,
I remember that my baby is having a baby!
Your own babies are certainly precious. But I find myself falling for almost all babies. Guess I have always been what they call a ‘baby person’. I chat up other people’s babies so much that friends warn me that I may be arrested.
But now I feel that all those other babies were just practice babies.
Practice not for my own, but for yours, Josh and Nikki, a grandchild baby!
I was asked by a young married cousin, why Moms are so excited to be grand-moms.
Not having my own yet, I did some research.
The results:
1- We get to play with the baby and, then, when we are finished, we can return them!
Something, it seems, that was impossible as a mom!
2- Now, more than ever (for when we were young and having our own kids it was hard to see)
we can view each baby as a miracle, an affirmation, a confirmation of what is right with the world.
3- Now that we have been through and survived so much we have the true ability to appreciate,
not only life, but NEW life!
4- We have more time to relax and see the benefits of relaxing our standards. We are less uptight, we see that sweating the small stuff was energy wasting.
As grandparents we will be able to laugh at what we took oh so seriously as parents.
AND YOUR LITTLE MIRACLE WILL BENEFIT!
